The On the Spot and On the Spot Express convenience banner group boasts over 140 dairies around the South Island that caters to your every day convenience requirements.
You can drop into any of the distinctive pink and white stores or the new On the Spot Express format to top up your grocery items, enjoy a drink, grab a paper or some food to go. You can treat yourself with an ice cream or any of the large range of confectionary items.
You will find many of the leading grocery brands you recognise in the supermarkets for those times when you really need them. Add to that service with a smile and you have a wining convenience solution. On the Spot's are locally owned and operated serving your local communities requirements.
Promotions
On the Spot and On the Spot Express offer a four weekly promotional program fully supported with eye catching point of sale. On the Spot promotional cycle supports both Centrally Warehoused products via Warehouse Withdrawal and DSD suppliers with direct to store promotional terms. Please contact the Convenience Business Manager if you wish to discuss promotional opportunities further.
Ranging
All new lines should be presented to the Merchandise Manager who is responsible for convenience ranging decisions. If approved, a Foodstuffs Ltd host support number will be allocated to your product. The emphasis is on the supplier to achieve minimum stocking to continue the ongoing host support of that product. Should a product fall below the minimum requirements it will be deleted.
Price Increases/Decreases
All pricing changes are to be communicated to the Trents Merchandise Manager. A minimum of four weeks notification is required from the effective date.

Disputes Protocol
Foodstuffs South Island Limited reserves the right to challenge and take action against any vendor seen not to be acting in the best interest of the group. Payment disputes should be referred to the Financial Controller in the Finance & Administration Division.
