PAK’nSAVE launches Sticky Club rewards programme
PAK'nSAVE
PAK'nSAVE customers are about to enjoy a new way to save more on
fuel with Sticky Club.
The programme is launching in all PAK'nSAVE South Island stores in
September. Shoppers can pick up a Sticky Club tag in store from
August 23 and join early, ahead of the grand launch on September
1.
"We know that 71 percent of household shoppers who also buy fuel,
are users of discount fuel schemes, and 37 percent always buy fuel
at discounted prices," Foodstuffs South Island's General Manager
Retail Tim Donaldson says.
"We also know that 43 percent of shoppers say fuel discount
schemes are important to them, and 21 percent say fuel discount
schemes influence their choice of supermarket.
"Sticky Club is a special programme that allows PAK'nSAVE
customers to collect fuel savings each month just by shopping at
PAK'nSAVE and scanning their Sticky Club tag at the checkout,"
Donaldson says. "This is a new offering, separate to our other fuel
deals in-store.
"Sticky Club members earn fuel savings each time they visit over
the course of a month. Every $20 you spend earns you 1 cent off on
each litre of fuel.
"Turn your savings into a fuel voucher, up to a maximum of 35
cents per litre, before the end of the month and print your voucher
at the check-out or one of our special Sticky Club kiosks in-store.
Once printed, your voucher is good for either 10 days at our
on-site fuel stations or a whole month at any participating Mobil
service station.
"Sticky Club members will also notice specially marked products in
store, which will earn you even more fuel savings. In addition,
there will be special bonus days from time to time with extra fuel
savings on offer. We'll also send you a handy email with the most
relevant deals in-store, based on the products you usually
buy."
Donaldson says Sticky Club members can either choose a key tag, a
wallet-sized card, or load a digital version of the tag onto their
smartphone to scan at the checkout.
"We've also made it really easy for customers to register their
details, either on our website, via our call centre or at the
in-store kiosks. It's a very quick process and there are no paper
forms to fill out.
"We think shoppers will really appreciate the new fuel savings and
will find the Sticky Club programme worthwhile and easy to
participate in. You can also create a Sticky Club Household of up
to four people. Each person gets their own tag, but you pool your
fuel savings together into one account.
"Our colleagues at Foodstuffs North Island will be watching with
interest. Once Sticky Club is under way in the South, it's likely
the programme will be rolled out in the North Island too,"
Donaldson says.
